RULES FOR OUR MAIL-IN SIGNINGS

Private Mail-in Signing = We are mailing the items to the player
Private In-Person Signing = We will be meeting with the player, no outside attendees allowed
Pubic Signing = Open to public, venue may have an entry fee

1 – All items need to be labeled with customers name/info on back of item, any preferences such as color, location, inscription, etc needs to have a ”post it” affixed to the front of the item. Default for cards and photos – blue sharpie, baseballs – blue ball point pens. Anything else sent or ordered on our website without a note will be our discretion.

2 – Payment must be included with your item. You can prepay via paypal – the receipt needs to be included with your items

3 – All items must come with a SASE or pre-printed return shipping label (USPS, UPS, FEDEX) . We DO NOT accept extra payment for return shipping.

4 – See below for everything else:

*All mail in items are sent at customers risk. We cannot guarantee that items will be signed exactly as requested. This includes, but not limited to, preferences of location, color, or specific writing utensil (pen, sharpie, etc). There is also no guarantee as to the quality, size, or grade of the autograph. We do not prep any cards or items that are mailed to us, that is the senders responsibility. Every effort will be made to inform the player of how to sign. All items need to be labeled with customers name/info on back of item, any preferences such as color, location, inscription, etc needs to have a ”post it” affixed to the front of the item – any efforts on our part to correct these instances that lead to damage or items not being signed correctly will not fall under our liability/responsibility. No refunds will be issued for those reasons. An inscription is up to 3 or 4 words (depending on the player) or 1 individual statistic. Any items that are smudged will be refunded for the cost of the autograph and/or inscription only, no other costs will be covered, including but not limited to, shipping or cost/value of item. Inscriptions are considered an add-on to an autograph, an autograph must be purchased for that specific item for an inscription to be added, previously signed items will not be eligible for an inscription. If you have a preference for a specific writing utensil, that should be sent with item – we have blue, black, silver, gold sharpies as well as most misc colors, thin blue staedtler’s, ballpoint blue and black pens, and some paint pens. You MAY not receive your writing utensil back.

COA/HOLOGRAMS – We offer our own tamper proof holograms for online orders or mail-in orders at no additional charge. If you would like one on your online order – you must put the request in the ‘notes’ section upon checkout. For mail-in items, the request but be with your items sent.

SASE POLICY – SASE stands for ‘self addressed stamped envelope’ all public or private or mail in signings are required for the buyer to provide either a same or pre-printed return shipping label – do not send us additional money to cover these fees. It is up to the buyer to provide everything necessary for proper return of item, this includes, but is not limited to – appropriate packaging, signature confirmation, tracking, insurance of items, cardboard, top loaders, bubble wrap, and anything else to secure the safe transport of your items. If only stamps are provided and not a shipping label, then any extras (insurance, tracking, signature confirmation, etc.) will not be included – this would require a prepaid label. We highly suggest any items of value are sent to us with tracking and you include a tracking label for return shipping – this protects your items if they get lost, stolen, damaged, etc. Perry Sports Legends is not responsible or liable for any items not received by us or not received back by sender if no tracking label was provided. If you are sending cash, we only accept the exact amount, we do not issue “change,” if exact amount cannot be sent, please send a personal check, money order, or pay via PayPal. No compensations or refunds will be given for signings that are delayed or postponed – only for those that are outright cancelled. Buyer is responsible for any shipping costs due to any signing/event that is cancelled or postponed. Payment must be included with the item or prepaid with PayPal, and the PayPal receipt needs to be included with your item(s). Any packages/envelopes that come to us postage due will be rejected and returned unopened. All items MUST come to us via USPS to our P.O. Box, but we can ship back UPS or FedEx.

REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY – All purchased items from the website have a 30 day return for damaged products only . For mail in orders for our signings, a 30 day return also applies to any damage claims, missing items, or any other issues – damaged items need to be returned before a refund is issued. Items without tracking will not qualify for a refund if lost/not returned. All other items are an “as is” sale and not subject for returns. Refund will be issued by – credit to the website for a future purchase(s), company check, or via PayPal only. Refunds for a cancelled signed will be given as a credit to future signing(s), company check, or via PayPal – cash will not be mailed/returned. Items sent to us with insufficient postage will be held up for 30 days from the date of the signing. Anyone with incorrect postage will be notified via email or text. Failure to provide postage after 30 days will be considered abandonment of item(s) and they will be discarded with no compensation or refund for the autograph, inscriptions, shipping, or value of item itself. Perry Sports Legends is not responsible for any additional postage fees or any other fees associated with a signing being cancelled or postponed.
